Gratitude list for Monday: (1) Grateful for going to a 2nd orthopedist and finding out what is going on. (2) Grateful for being at a friend’s last chemo and watching her ring the bell when she finished. (3) Grateful for wanting to pack my food since I was gone a good bit of the day working somewhere else. (4) Grateful a friend reached out to talk about going thru something similar to what I experienced. (5) Grateful for going to sleep early and getting a good night’s sleep. (6) Grateful I can still go to the gym while in the boot…just need to modify my exercise.

Random act of kindness idea of the day: Ask a stranger how they are and listen to their answer.

Gratitude list for Sunday: (1) Grateful for time getting to know someone I love. (2) Grateful for getting a blog written…have done that in a few weeks. (3) Grateful for getting a very complicated expense report completed. (4) Grateful someone I love listened to their body and got proper medical treatment. (5) Grateful for eating healthy and tasting something yummy, not ordering it myself. (6) Grateful for a reminder of what is really important. (7) Grateful for a fun time that included laughter.

I know the power of prayer and have seen the miracles it provides. Gd knows who we are speaking about in our prayers so we don’t need to provide full names. If you want the person to be anonymous, first names are enough.
Let me know when I can remove a name on the list.
I always say a prayer for those that have nobody to pray for them.

Whitney – 30yo having treatment for MS. Went thru one round and has to have an unexpected second round.
Ryne – 16yo just placed on transplant list for a heart; suddenly got a virus damaging his heart; Also pray for the parents, grandparents & sister that are by this side.
Jenie Coleman- Complications from Type 1 Diabetes & doesn’t have money to pay for meds.
Kay Elerbee Fraser an her family – Gd knows what they need.
Marti Driskell – being treated for cancer again;
Arwa Hassan-Lady in East Africa with cancer that doesn’t have access to medical care & resources
Deb S – has infectious disease and working on healing
Nancy S. - has severe GI issues with pain. Praying for answers, solutions and healing.

(2) Grateful for making a yummy dinner that was super easy rather than going out due to laziness. (3) Grateful for lots of laughter. (4) Grateful for seeing an artist that I really love and a kind offer from her. (5) Grateful for finding art I really loved, but deciding the energy of the artist isn’t what I want in my home. (6) Grateful for the amazing birds that come to my feeder. (7) Grateful for being in the solution even though it doesn’t feel particularly good. Random act of kindness idea of the day: Forgive

Gratitude list for Thursday: (1) Grateful the orthopedist had a cancellation and I am going Monday rather than in 4 weeks. (2) Grateful for getting back to the gym with the encouragement of my amazing coach. (3) Grateful for choosing to go to the post office (went to 2) to get my mail since it wasn’t delivered as requested. I didn’t get upset, just did it. It would have been different in the past. (4) Grateful a friend of my brother’s sent me an image of the stone he had made for my brother. Now we can get it cut and have the unveiling. (5) Grateful for a healthy day of eating…being on the road can be challenging. Being able to open my refrigerator is a big deal. (6) Grateful I am able to be with a friend for a special occasion.

Random act of kindness idea of the day: Take care of yourself…mind, body and soul.

Gratitude list for Wednesday: (1) Grateful for choosing to take steps to take care of all aspects of myself; called a doctor I have been avoiding, found an online therapist so I don’t have to go to their office and chose to invest in private training again since I don’t show up for classes. (2) Grateful I got sick and tired of feeling sick and tired and took action. (3) Grateful for being able to work from home. I didn’t want to leave the house today and didn’t have to. (4) Grateful for the kind words from members of my home group when I let them know that I needed to find a new one. My business travel means my attendance is sporadic so I am finding a weekend meeting. (5) Grateful for facing a difficult client head on and standing my ground. He finally understood what I was and wasn’t able to do.

Random act of kindness idea of the day: Thank every person you see in uniform for their service.

Gratitude list for Monday & Tuesday: (1) Grateful for an incredibly productive day with a new team member. (2) Grateful for time with co-workers in Austin…they are an amazing group. (3) Grateful for getting a good night’s sleep. (4) Grateful for getting an earlier flight home and being upgraded to first class. (5) Grateful for meeting a lady whose daughter is going thru treatment for MS…she allowed me to add her to our prayer list. (6) Grateful for meeting an American that served in the IDF. When I was upgraded, she got up and took my bag down for me. (7) Grateful for an interesting conversation with my Lyft driver on the long ride home. (8) Grateful for being home and sleeping in my own bed.

Random act of kindness idea of the day: Be friendly even when someone isn’t

Gratitude list for Sunday: (1) Grateful for getting to the car return place without getting lost. I’ve had challenges in the past. (2) Grateful for the rental guy that found a art for me…my luggage was quite heavy. (3) Grateful for meeting a nice guy and his dog. He was in Toronto buryig his 24 yo cousin that died of a drug overdose. (4) Grateful for meeting an NFL referee and having a very interesting conversation. (5) Grateful for sitting next to a Delta employee that told me all kinds of information about what Delta is doing. (6) Grateful for getting to say good-bye to a lady I spent a bunch of time with before hitting the road. (7) Grateful for a warm welcome when I got to the hotel at about 9:15 last night. Those things make a difference.

Gratitude list for Wednesday: (1) Grateful for my WW coach and her help turning my head around. (2) Grateful for eating clean all day. (3) Grateful for meeting so many great people. (4) Grateful for the kindness of a waitress at the hotel. (5) Grateful a store clerk went out of her way to give me a discount and be helpful. (6) Grateful I stayed in and had dinner delivered. I am in quite a bit of pain and needed to rest my body. (7) Grateful for this trip and mending relationships with my company. People have been very receptive.

(2) Grateful for immediately apologizing for being impolite in a situation that I was powerless over, but very frustrated with. (3) Grateful for the kind lady that checked me into my hotel. (4) Grateful for choosing to be gentle with myself around some choices that weren’t the best I could make. (5) Grateful for reaching out to someone I lost contact with. Gratitude list for Friday & Saturday: (1) Grateful for time getting to know a co-worker. (2) Grateful a friend was understood that I was too tired to get together. (3) Grateful for getting on an earlier flight home. (4) Grateful for being polite but sharing that something was unacceptable and getting an acceptable compromise. (5) Grateful for sitting next to a nice guy on the flight, the last one he was taking for work…he was retiring. It was a great chat. (6) Grateful for the relationship with my Lyft driver…it is an odd match, but one I appreciate. (7) Grateful for being home and sleeping in my own bed. Gratitude list for Saturday & Sunday: (1) Grateful the weather cleared up. (2) Grateful for being physically able to use the stairs the entire trip. (4) Grateful for getting emotional while I packed because I had such a great week with my girlfriend. (5) Grateful for meditating and the result. Gratitude list for Friday: (1) Grateful for my morning WW coaches. They really help start my day off right. (2) Grateful for having a food and exercise plan in place for the cruise next week so I can maintain some control in that area of my life. (3) Grateful for meeting someone one that indirectly led me to someone I was supposed to meet. (4) Grateful for the relaxation and release of toxins I got in the sauna. It was even better than I remembered it from Finland. (5) Grateful for date night with myself. It has been awhile… made a nice dinner and enjoyed my own company. (6) Grateful someone asked me to join them on their recovery journey. (7) Grateful I have been slowly reconnecting with someone I lost touch with. (8) Grateful that 5 years ago today I came home from my double mastectomy. My life has been an amazing journey that I am incredibly grateful for.

(2) Grateful the tow truck driver was willing to drive me home. We had a nice conversation. (3) Grateful for the lady that let me stay in her shop while I waited for the tow truck. (4) Grateful today is my one year anniversary of being a home owner in Cumming…what a great decision this was. Gratitude list for Monday (1) Grateful for how amazing Verizon was when I accidentally used up all my data. They gave me extra to hold me over for free. (2) Grateful for my boss and that he understands me. (3) Grateful for getting 80% of my office cleaned out. Saw the floor for the first time in ages (4) Grateful for the opportunity to be of service to a neighbor. (5) Grateful for starting to feel joy and excitement again…it has been awhile.
